For Christ
How does this verse relate to Luke 9:50: "Anyone who is not against you is for you"? In the earlier passage, Jesus was talking about a person who was driving out demons in Jesus' name. Those who fight evil, he was saying, are on the same side as one driving out demons in Jesus' name. Here, by contrast, he was talking about the conflict between God and the devil. In this battle, if a person is not on God's side, he or she is on Satan's. There is no neutral ground. Because God has already won the battle, why be on the losing side? If you aren't actively for Christ, you are against him.
““Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.”
Luke 11:23 NIV

Reflections
It is important for us to hold our focus on where it should be. When we lose our focus, it is where it gets dangerous, because there is no anchor in the right place and the longer this happens, the further we will drift away, being dragged along by the stuffs that are thrown at us, eventually we went out too far we lost our way back.
I pray that the Holy Spirit helps us to discern areas where we fall short and bring us back on track, to help us to remain anchored in the Lord, to persevere even when people throws darts at us, giving us wisdom to when to stand firm and when to dodge.
That is why it is important to always check on our alignment with God. To ensure we are still on the right track. It feels like we are moving in wilderness and given nothing but a compass. We cannot see what’s ahead of us and we may even hear weird sounds or experience goosebumps as we walk. But God is our Northern star. He guides us and makes sure we are following it as He shines His light in even the darkest places. His presence is always there. We are never alone or forsaken.
It is also about learning to trust Him all the way. No deviating from His plans. No doing things in our ways but His ways only.
