Follow Him always

Many believed that Jesus came for the Jews only. But when Jesus said, "Anyone who wants to be my disciple must follow me," he was talking to these Greeks as well. No matter who the sincere seekers are, Jesus welcomes them. His message is for everyone. Don't allow social or racial differences to become barriers to the gospel. Take the Good News to all people.

“Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.”John‬ ‭12‬:‭26‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Reflections

His doors are wide open. He welcomes everyone and anyone who wants to know Him-the truly open door policy!

What I am learning is how to welcome people regardless of who they are, what they did, etc. It takes so much godly wisdom to accept the people whom most would shy away from. But then again, it is exactly these people that Jesus wants to reach out to isn’t it? And the church is exactly built for that purpose. Is it not meant to welcome the good and godly but more like a sanctuary for the sick and weary. It is the place to find rest. However, not everyone may think the same way, just like not everyone may agree about certain things due to the different levels of maturity we may be at.

However, His word says this-to welcome everyone. So long as they are sincere, He welcomes them. He gives everyone an equal chance to come to know Him and we, the ones who may be front-facing, are exactly the ones who can minister to them and let God use us as His vessels to show them what Christ’s love looks like.

Somehow, people think that the non-believers look at Christians as being one kind. However, I see actually the others are looking at us because they know we are different. We are supposedly different from the world, the caring and loving bunch of people. So then the question becomes-are we really what it is? Loving, caring and kind?
