Would God understand me?

Do you ever feel that your life is too complex for God to understand? Remember, God created the entire universe, and nothing is too difficult for him. God created you; he is alive today, and his love is bigger than any problem you may face.

“Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”John‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Reflections

No, I never once doubted that God would not understand me. I understand that He is Almighty and the creator and He knows me inside out. There’s nothing that He does not know or understand. Not a feeling, even the unspoken ones that He does not know of. Not even a thought, which is unspoken, can be hidden from Him. Thus He understands all our struggles and our pain.

I experienced His love for me in the simplest ways. The time when I was really down, a sister in Christ texted me rather randomly and it reminded me of how He understood my pain. This was the same sister who texted and called me when I was struggling in my darkest valley some years back. The next day, another sister in Christ asked me out for desserts and it was also during our fellowship that she shared and encouraged me. I felt comforted knowing that He knows it all and sent just the right person to comfort and also gently reminding me not to fall too deep. These two sisters didn’t know I was feeling down but it was God sent. He knows best.

It was also a reminder to me where my focus lies (It is about making peace and finding back that peace in the Lord) and during those low times, His word, is where I can find peace. This was a breakthrough because I use to read the Word but it just cannot get to me during my valleys. However, the experience helped me to be more anchored in Him where I can take intentional pauses, read His Word and do nothing else, meditate and write my reflections. It does not mean that it is easy but it is super comforting that He knows.

He speaks to me in His word, He helps me to slow down enough as if time can come to a standstill so that I can switch my total focus to Him and be able to rise from my low valleys. He has helped opened a door I didn’t know exist and it helped me to find peace even during hard times. Thank You Lord ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป
