God’s messenger

We must take God's great message of salvation to others so that they can respond to the Good News. How will your loved ones and neighbors hear it unless someone tells them? Is God calling you to take a part in making his message known in your community? Think of one person who needs to hear the Good News, and think of something you can do to help him or her hear it. Then take that step as soon as possible.

“And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!””Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Reflections

Have we been bringing good news to the people around us? Have they at least heard something good about Jesus and the work He has done in our lives? He deserves all praises and glory to His name!

Here we are not looking literally at the feet but the people who has brought the good news of salvation and redemption to all, even the wicked ones. It is good news indeed because there are not many chances where the wicked can be told that someone loves them, especially someone so high and almighty, a God who loves them, when at times, even their family refused to accept them.

Have we been bold as well, to tell the others that we had accepted Christ or did we even tried to hide our identity? But in a different world and context, we cannot for sure proclaim our faith with such audacity. Discernment is needed but I believe my bottomline is that I will not deny Him. Reminds me of Peter when he told God that he will never leave Him when Jesus too well what will happen.

I think we humans are at times too self conceited. We think we are quite ‘up there’ when the fact is that there’s still a lot of work God has to do in us. Share as the Holy Spirit prompts us to and witness how God can use each and every one of us for His glory!
