Power of the Holy Spirit

Power from the Holy Spirit is not limited to strength beyond the ordinary-that power also involves courage, boldness, confidence, insight, ability, and authority. The disciples would need all these gifts to fulfill their mission. If you believe in Jesus Christ, you can experience the power of the Holy Spirit in your life.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.””Acts‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Reflections

I would not put a limit to the power of the Holy Spirit. I believe He can do much much more than whatever that is written here. To have guidance from the Higher up is more than just whatever we can imagine. It is conceptualising it into reality, turning something that is great into something tangible so we can experience the foretaste of what it can look or feel like in the future.

That power is to be used to glorify God and His works. It is in our work-in-progress state that requires us to be in sync with the Holy Spirit so He can speak through us. Little by little He is shaping us into the perfect being He wanted us to be. But as fallen as we are, we do struggle to come to terms that we can still be used in such a fallen state. Amazes me every time. Indeed when you come to Christ, He searches all things for the good of His kingdom. He searches our hearts too and teach us and transform us. May we continue to yield to Him and have a teachable heart, so that we may all experience the full power of the Holy Spirit in our lives, guiding us to the end goal that Christ has set for us.
