Are you an encourager?

When we speak fearlessly for Christ, or live faithfully for him during difficult situations, we encourage others to do the same. Be an encouragement by the way that you live.

“And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.”Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Reflections

I remember the testimonies I heard and the lives I saw transformed by Christ. It is definitely uplifting and encouraging at the same time!

Some of the testimonies are those of His healing powers, where He made the impossible possible, where it went beyond medical logic or defies all logic even. It’s really awesome how God can work! Or cases where post op recovery was so speedy and pain free!

There were also cases of salvation where we saw how God turned someone who suffers from depression and isolation comes to Christ and were like almost healed of it! Her condition was so much better and even spoke to a whole congregation giving God the glory! That’s such a powerful testimony given that she is an introvert and will avoid speaking to crowds at all cost!

We also saw how the Lord has brought about reconciliation and harmony in the families, especially in cases where the believers got closer to God. You will see rather clearly how a person’s growth in Christ does bring about a positive change in their family. He blesses us with so much!

One of the other powerful testimony which made me fell in awe was one shared by a church leader. She has no income and how much she eats depends on how much donations or offerings they receive. It is a small church but yet, you can feel how powerfully the Holy Spirit moves in there. She has no lack whatsoever and has food to eat every single day. She said it is important to just rely on the Lord as He will provide and that really struck me on how strong her faith is!
