What’s our love level for others
We are saved by faith, not by deeds. But love for others and for God is the response of those whom God has forgiven. God's forgiveness is complete, and Jesus said that those who are forgiven much love much. Because faith expresses itself through love, you can check your love for others as a way to monitor your faith.
“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.”
Galatians 5:6 NIV

Reflections
The Lord made the covenant of circumcision with Abraham and everyone in his household were bound to this, whether they are family or slaves that worked in that household. Since then all males born to that household will need to be circumcised at day eight of their birth. The birth of Jesus and His death, helped us all to do away with all these. Now through faith alone, we receive our salvation and through faith alone, we are forgiven. By faith we are made righteous and cleansed and made white by Jesus who had atoned us by His blood.
Through faith, the Lord instead circumcised our hearts. It is not enough to just be circumcised physically but everything has to come from deep within, i.e. our hearts. How we speak, what we think and how we act, all stems from our hearts. If our hearts are circumcised, it will be a pure heart, one that is free from malice and sin and from a pure heart will come love for others as well.
