How can you hold on to a good conscience? Treasure your faith in Christ more than anything else and do what you know is right. Each time you deliberately ignore your conscience, you are hardening your heart. Over a period of time your capacity to tell right from wrong will diminish. As you walk with God, he will speak to you through your conscience, letting you know the difference between right and wrong. Be sure to act on those inner tugs so that you do what is right-then your conscience will remain clear.


“holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith.”

Reflections

It is kind of scary to read that the ignoring of those conscience tugs will eventually led to a hardening of our hearts. I guess this is all part of the devil’s plans of trying to derail us from God’s plans. Maybe there are times when we thought, this is a small thing, it doesn’t impact that much.. Perhaps we also forgot that sometimes it’s the little things that matter to our Abba Father.


Taking up our cross daily to follow Christ. It will have to be a daily thing. Day in, day out, in every action, speech and thought. The Holy Spirit guides us in our daily walk and prompts us to do certain things. Through the obedience in our daily lives, we get to experience the goodness of God. He is so so gracious to us all. Praise You Lord 🙏🏻


May our hearts be fully aligned to His. Our walk be always straight to the final goal He has placed in our lives. Pray too that He soften each and every heart that hears His word and be saved. Pray too that every fellow brother and sister be made new by the blood of Christ and live a transformed life henceforth. Thank You Lord

He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” (John 6:5).

Year One Readings: 2 Kings 15 2 Kings 16 2 Kings 17 John 6:1-21 But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do (John 6:6).  He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” (John 6:5). Jesus doesn’t ask the above question to Philip because He needs an answer; our Lord knows all things. The Good Shepherd’s question has a twofold effect: It shows the inability of men to meet the needs of mankind and displays the impossibility of feeding the vast multitude. Philip should have turned to Jesus and said, “For with God nothing will be impossible” (Luke 1:37). This is the first miracle the disciples participate in with the Lord.
