Seek Him and be rewarded with His presence
Believing that God exists is only the beginning; even the demons believe that much. God will not settle for mere acknowledgment of his existence. He wants a personal, dynamic relationship with you that will transform your life. Those who seek God will find that they are rewarded with his intimate presence. Sometimes we wonder about the fate of those who haven't heard of Christ and have not even had a Bible to read. God assures us that all who honestly seek him-who act in faith on the knowledge of God that they possess-will be rewarded. When you tell others the gospel, encourage them to be honest and diligent in their search for truth. Those who hear the gospel are responsible for what they have heard.
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”Hebrews 11:6 NIV

Reflections
The following verse pops up as I was reading this devotional. “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
Jeremiah 29:13 NIV
I was being reminded that our Lord and Abba Father is always here with us. He is meant to be found, if we truly wanna find Him, He will be there. He don’t hide and He is ever ready to receive us with open arms. How great is thy love. Sometimes I feel so unworthy to be called His daughter, someone who fall short of so many things. Yet, He never gave up, and just kept coming after us.
I recently read about the prodigal son and it was mentioned that the Father ran when he saw the son returned. He ran before judgement can be made on this son who squandered away all his wealth, He ran not just to cloth him but also put jewellery on him, making him realised that whatever he had done, he is still precious in the father’s eyes. It is the same for Jesus isn’t it? Even when we are still far off, our Lord sent His one and only son to die for us, redeeming us from our sins, even before judgement can reach us. I cannot thank Him enough for His grace and mercy.
I remembered the day when I was kind of feeling low and as doubt beginning to crept its way in. I caught hold of it and prayed that Lord, remove this unwanted thought from me and He prompted me to sing worship. When I open my playlist and just let it play (I have a 12hr40m worship playlist and it’s still increasing), the song that came on was “Who am I” by Casting Crowns. How apt is His message to me.. the lyrics read “Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth would care to know my name? Would care to feel my hurt?
Who am I, that the bright and morning star would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart?
Not because of who I am
But because of what you've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who you are”.
It totally lifts me up from darkness and into His light! Praise you O Lord!
It is not that whatever evil we had done will be fully wiped away. We may still have to suffer the consequences of our actions, and we know that we well deserved it. But I am encouraged that He led us to a brand new life. A life of renewed hope. A life that is filled with His love for us as He reveals His presence to us, every step of the way. Rejoice and give thanks for He is good!
p.s. because I had to keep refilling my mum’s medication boxes every 3 weeks, and at times when I get really busy and may forget, He reminds me. So never once do I ever forget and He always reminds me just in time.. when the 3 other boxes are empty. He is so so good! Thank You Father!! ๐๐ป
